Hi all. I have an arnold question (for Maya).
In the aiStandardHair shader there is a parameter called Azimuthal Roughness
The guide says:
This parameter is used when anisotropic_roughness is enabled. A smaller value lets rays go straight but a larger roughness allows more rays to travel inside the hair. The intensity becomes lower as the increases.
Does anybody know when is actually appropriate to use this attribute and how much?
Animal hair? Red hair?
I looked around but I can not find much information.
