Its a really sad day for the industry, today one of the studios that was doing some super fresh work is closing its doors.
A lot of our own have been affected too, and this has a huge emotional impact on me. Tangent was the first studio that trusted us with a Studio License for Creature Garage. There were innovating and updating their whole pipeline to cope up with the requirements.
Sadly, time did not gave them any respite.
If any of you guys from tangent is reading this please, send me an email, I have several positions that are looking for groomers and can recommend you directly.
Its So sad to see another studio shut down on this pandemic.
How feeble we are in this industry to project-based workflows, when a client just moves away.
The same thing happened to Jellyfish last year after Spirit, and to another studio from the UK that I will not mention after Netflix decided to move the release of a series.
While it's true that the amount of work produced now is astounding, is also true that the speed at which the releases move up and down the timeline is making it almost impossible for the studios/producers and vendor side of things to cope up with.
