I'm Pierluigi. I am trying to create the groom from a concept in maya with vray render, and I have 2 problems:
- After creating a collection with several descriptions (of course on the lambert) I tried to lay a little the head of the charachter, but the guides or collection do not follow the mesh.
- I tried to apply a map (loading the texture exported by substance painter) creating two attributes external to the collections (in the label "expression") and then linking it in the different descriptions. How did Jesus do in the guide on how to use xgen for production when creating the various density maps. But it doesn’t work. Can it be done?
I’m trying to solve this: for each description I’m loading the two maps I wanted to link (root_color; tip_color) with a resolution of 400 to get a perfect matching of color and shades. But it is very cumbersome and not very smart.
As for the vrayhairnext material I assigned the same to all descriptions and in the knot before the next I inserted a hair sempler
